ABOUT CCÉ BOSTON MUSIC SCHOOL

Founded in 1997 as part of the Reynolds-Hanafin-Cooley CCÉ branch, the CCÉ Boston Music School offers group lessons in Irish Traditional music for children, teens, and adults — from complete beginners to advanced players. Our world-class faculty features professional musicians based in the Boston area who have performed across the globe, and who bring that same passion and expertise to every class.

We offer in-person youth and adult lessons in Medford, MA and Milton, MA, along with online classes via Zoom aimed at intermediate and advanced students on select instruments. Whatever your age, level, or instrument, there’s a place for you here. Come learn, play, and join us in the magic and fun of Irish traditional music.

As part of a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving traditional Irish music, song, dance, language, and culture, our school is about more than lessons — it’s about community. Students learn in a welcoming group setting, play together at sessions and branch events, and become part of a living tradition that has been passed down for generations. Need an instrument to get started? We offer a range of rental instruments and have tin whistles for sale.
